Dear Heart Centered Living Friends,

I have always been one who has enjoyed “plugging” into the times,
the time of the season, the time of the year, the holidays or special
times that we celebrate in groups, gatherings and with our families.
But I really had no idea how significant it was until I opened my mind
and heart to Earth Wisdom, be it Native Spirituality, the Divine
Feminine or even Buddhism for that matter. The event on the national calendar compared to the event on the cosmic calendar is beyond comparison.

Let me explain this a little bit. We all are very aware of certain
things that happen at various times during the year, we just
celebrated Memorial day as a nation, we will celebrate Father’s Day
as a nation, 4th of July as a nation, etc….But how many times do we
celebrate or honor an event that is happening globally? We are tied
into a calendar that recognizes many events that honestly have only
been sanctioned within the last 100 years or so. But what about new
moons, full moons, equinoxes, and solstices? Which have been
celebrated by indigenous peoples as well as since the beginning of
time.

I for one, am enjoying all of this history, this getting back to our
roots, that seems was thrown out with the great literary books so long ago. For some reason we were taught that worshiping the sun, or
talking to the moon was considered evil and so we just swept it under
the rug and did not think twice about it. But I have to tell you when
you start uncovering the truth, the roots, the history, the
information that is programmed in our cells, veins, blood and bones,
there is something very rewarding in honoring and revering all that
which gives you life;the earth that sustains us, the grass that we
walk on, the trees that supply us with wood for heat, the sun that
makes our gardens grow, the rain that nourishes us, the list goes on
and on. And I have to believe that the creator, source, great spirit,
great mystery, God, All that is, would want us to “SEE” things
that way so that we may “DO” things a little bit differently then
what we have been doing to each other and to this earth……

** Call to Action**

With warmer weather comes the desire to be outside with friends,
enjoying the breeze, the trees, and each other. I would like to give
you an opportunity where you can do that with like-minded open
individuals who wish to learn, share, and grow either through
workshops, gatherings or events in an outdoor setting. Here are the
different ways where you can contribute, learn and grow with us at
your own pace and maybe even your own place if you so wish (-:

  1. Join us some Wednesday evening around the Medicine Wheel in Maine at 6:00, bring your lawn chair, and learn all about the practical ways to apply the Heart Centered Living philosophy to your life such as the understanding that all things and beings are related, and there fore must be in harmony for the earth to be balanced. Love offering or trade/barter (plants and posies are welcome)
  2. Host a mini-retreat, workshop, gathering or series at your home
with 6-8 interested people around the following teachings:
  • Shamanic Basics-The age old wisdom of Shamanism, which reaches back to the stone-age and paleolithic times, is alive and well today. It is still used by traditional healers around the globe, but the ancient methods have also been put to contemporary everyday use for self-help and healing. You too can draw on the powers of shamanism, for the path of the Shaman is the path of the self in its deepest connection to nature. Learn about sacred space, altars, smudging, and power animals.
  • Intuitive Development – (opening up to your psychic abilities) We will investigate how much you use your psychic senses/abilities and how to further train yourself to strengthen these innate gifts to not only make you conscious of what’s around you but also help you take charge of your destiny. Discover your underlying intuitive gifts that you do have and learn how to develop your psychic potential through awakening your senses, opening up through meditation, tuning into your chakras, understanding your will, looking at auras and sharpening your psychic vision.
  • Faery Goddess Gathering – Like a pamper me party with a little faery goddess twist. Engage in activities that connect you to your inner fairy goddess through creative visualization, play time, a magical craft and even faery readings if you choose. Save time for some Faery Goddess shopping and dress up as well. This is a wonderful treat if you are looking to embrace your wild child side, or inner goddess. You never know what gifts might present themselves to you on a magical Faery Goddess Eve.

Call or email me at 607-226-2354 so we can talk details, dates, times,
