I can’t believe that half of the year is over, and we are getting ready to slide into the Summer Solstice. I have taken the liberty to put together some tid bits of information from the past, what is happening now, and tales of whats to come in this version of our online news and views. Meeting at the Well
Last Month’s Women’s Retreat was wildy successful with an attendance of 13 for a full day of sacred self-care, nourishment, and deeply self-soothing and healing practices that enlightened our minds, lifted our spirits and awakened our souls. This beautiful gift right before Mother’s Day was the perfect way to usher in this monumental wave of nurturing that we all tend to forget amongst our busy lives.

Truthseekers:
Our Truthseekers group met last week with some really good discussions on health and wellness.
Carolyn Blake brought medicine balls for us to try, and we talked about healthy eating. Deborah Matsushima talked about her Life Wave Patch and how she uses that, Erick shared some things about Mushrooms and how they are helping boost his immunity and Renee Guidelli spoke of how singing, chanting and toning is good for the spirit. They closed with a song dedicated to the Ancestors with Don McBride playing his Shamanic Drum that he made while living out west.
Truth Seekers meets the first and third Thursday of the month from 2-4, where topics like hidden messages in the bible, ET or otherworldly beings’, Sacred Geometry and Worldly Events are discussed. We recently added Self-Healing, and Health and Wellness as a topic for the First Thursday of the month. Our next meeting will be Thursday June 19th from 2-4 . If you can’t attend in person you might want to join us via the Heart Centered Living Radio Station.
Drum and Song Circle
Our last Drum circle was a lovely mixture of free-style drum using the frame drum, and djembe, songs and chants from around the world including one to honor our Grandmothers, as well as my personal favorite “The Priestess Mothers” A Hebrew and Aramaic chant with soft frame drum that we open up with during Women’s gatherings. It is always so wonderful to see and hear what people bring to the circle when we meet including dance, rhythm and various songs, and drumming beats to ensure a very well rounded experience for everyone. Drum Making Workshop Is being Planned
Both Erick and I have made quite a few drums over the past couple years and we have heard some of you mention that if we were to teach a workshop on that you would like to attend. Well we have heard you and we are going to start doing this with small groups of 4 or so. We will send you to the link to purchase your kit from another retail supplier that we recommend first and then once you have your supplies, we will set you up with the rest of the details of your workshop.
