History of Heart Centered Living (HCL)
Founding & Vision
Heart Centered Living (HCL) was founded by Renée Guidelli, a spiritual teacher, life coach, and ordained minister with over 20 years of experience in holistic healing and personal transformation. She envisioned HCL as a community-driven, heart-centered organization dedicated to spiritual growth, conscious living, and healing.
Initially, HCL started as a small spiritual discussion group where individuals could explore alternative healing modalities, self-development, and intuitive practices. Over time, it evolved into a full-fledged community offering workshops, retreats, and educational programs for those seeking deeper spiritual and emotional well-being.
Early Growth & Expansion
- HCL began hosting self-development and spirituality classes, covering topics such as energy healing, meditation, sacred geometry, and intuitive development.
- Retreats and healing circles became central offerings, allowing participants to immerse themselves in holistic practices.
- The organization expanded into a physical space, known as the Heart Centered Living Place, at 280 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY, providing a sacred sanctuary for gatherings, healing, and learning.
- Partnerships were formed with other spiritual teachers, holistic healers, and conscious businesses to bring a variety of perspectives and modalities into the community.
Key Milestones
- 2006: Heart Centered Living is officially founded as a spiritual community for seekers, healers, and creative changemakers.
- 2015: HCL expands into teaching programs, including sacred geometry teachings, and Mystery School teachings.
- 2016: The Heart Centered Living Place is established in Wellsburg, NY, providing a dedicated space for retreats, sound therapy, coaching, and energy healing.
- 2019: The organization integrates online offerings and builds a strong Facebook community, allowing global participants to engage in heart-centered discussions and events.
- 2022-Present: HCL continues to evolve its mission, offering a blend of in-person and online courses, community gatherings, and transformational retreats.

For a few years in the interem between the property being used by the Episcopal Church and Heart Centered Living it was used by the Wellsburg Community Church.
